Witcher what an awesome rpg

I need to get back to this. I got hopelessly stuck a few months ago and gave up. I was in the early part outside the city walls and I just couldn't find out how to get into the city and continue the story, kept wandering around the village.
 
Yep, one of the best rpgs in recent years imo. Played it on release (never had any real issues) and played it through again when enhanced edition came out. Great game.

Hence, The Witcher 2 is one of my most anticipated games for 2011 along with Guild Wars 2, gonna be good year.

Nearly bought this a while back. Can't remember why I didn't though. Probably forgot about it.
 
Just been playing more, I'm now level 23 and my character is feeling nice & powerful now (has been for a few levels). I found it quite difficult to get into as it didn't feel like my character was getting anywhere during the initial swamp/town quests.

I still miss getting new items/armour constantly (like Oblivion for example), but everything else definitely makes up for that.

It's really addictive at the moment. Those damn Salamandra!!
