So reading through the forums for the swift displays am kinda glad I didn't steal money and grab one. I went for the AOC 1080P one and I've not heard a bad thing about it to this date, I take it is just bad panels over at asus rather than G syncs tech itself??

Any thoughts? Or am I going to run into these issues later on.

Sorry, I guess I went a tad over the top with "high" Although the amount of people on the forum reporting the same issue very close to each other is very worrying. My screen comes 2mro and I hope that it's problem free and nothing to do with the G sync units but we shall see. At least I feel AOC might be easier in terms of RMA though I wouldn't know at this moment as no one has seem to be suffering issues with it.

Been wondering the same thing myself having read the Swift thread a bit. Really hoping the source for these faults doesn't lie in the g-sync units themselves.

You got your G2460PG yet, mate? Happy with it if so?

Comes thrusday mate, Looking forward to see what it's like. Shall report back :P

Yea, I really really wanted the swift myself but the price of those units are waaay past what am willing to pay for a 1440p.

Am very happy with my asus 1080p gaming screens at the moment and even though 1440p would be nice I'll just up the AA on my new screen 2mro and just be as happy :P

My main problem with the price is the feeling like your paying quite a bit of markup for the ROG branding alone - I managed to get one for a good bit under current prices through work which finally got me to pull the trigger.

Yep, I do agree. If it was a fair bit cheaper I'd take the dive and grab it but yea the price and now the issues. It's no longer for me.

I wouldnt post this in swifts thread as its about thr 1080p g sync AOC not really the swift as I was worried it was the G sSync unit inside causing issues not ASUS's panels
