With the drought of quality content for older people

...these days I ended up obtaining series one of the UK show called Prime Suspect.
It's ok and enjoyable enough but damn they smoked a lot in the 90's didn't they.

What do you consider old, i'm 43 and feel old but certainly am not struggling to find quality content, be it movies or TV to watch, majority made in the last decade.

Indeed I watched the godfather the other day and trying to get through number 2..... Either its not aged well or was pants to start with.

Brit box has a lot of old British tv shows if that's your thing.

I don't think I can get that channel tbh. I bought the dvd's from the charity shop.
I'm on series 3 now and I have noticed it seems that every series must push a certain social issue?
Series 1 was a female in charge of ignorant men, series 2 was police relations with the black community, now series 3 is about drag queens and rent boys.
I've noticed a lot of very young faces in this knowing them from movies. Mark Strong and a very very young Danny Dyer in Series 3.

Danny Dyer always lends a touch of class to any drama, I find.

I had to laugh, I didn't create this thread title knowing but have you all watched the latest South Park special?
