With the predicited price drop in GFX cards?

gaming at 1680x1050 will a 4850 x2 see a significant performance increase over my 4870 512mb clocked at 800/940?

also will my psu be sufficent?

Seconded, a single 4870 is more then enough at 1680x1050....well unless you want stupidly high framerates

If you play Crysis a lot, then it is more likely to be worth it. On other games you won't need it really.

hmm but stuff like WAR, Far Cry 2 still take my card to its limit.

hmm ill wait till the price drop then after my GFs 21st etc when i have a bit more money =P
