Ok so i presume my issue is a routing problem within windows. I connect to inet via wireless USB dongle at 192.168.1.254 but when i have LAN cable plugged into a another router (no inet, just providing a closed network while settings up Citrix lab) my internet stops working.
Now i suspect windows is picking the fastest connection with gateway address to foward inet traffic requests but the LAN has no inet.
Solution so far has been manully setting TCP/I.P v4 on LAN with no gateway (only I.P & subnet) & sorts the issue but wondered if people had a better option. Only ever touched static routes with my companies software.
