Does anyone know much about LEDs strips Powers, controllers so on.

I'm try to Create a DIY LED kit to use at home, I did not want to get a Overpriced ready made kits.

I know I need 1x 5m addressable LED strip to go around the TV, for lighting with future Tv sync like Philips ambilight, but they are so many models.
I'm looking at the WS2811 12v, WS2812b 5v, WS2812E 5v im not sure if I should get the 30 LEDs/m or 60 LEDs/m, if I get the 5v I will need some sort of voltage regulator for both Strips to works together ?

I want 1x White 5m White LED strip single colour 3000K - 4000K Not sure yet COB 12v. 320+ LEDs/m, I will also need another 5m cable to extend it due to the distance. I assume I will need a good Gauge 2 core for this, would electric cable be ok or cat5 cable ?

Power supply: Im thinking a 12v model but ill need to choose the strips before I can finalise a power supply

I dont really like the ready made controllers but I cant find anything decent
I came across a WLED + esp32 but I assume I would need a good few things or something ready made to use it.

Please help, I need to get this done before 24th but I jumped into the deep end.

just buy philips hue :P if you use a PC as a multimedia centre then you don't need to buy the expensive box because the computer does the processing.

you can also draw a box around the part of the screen you want the lights to sync with, so any movies with black borders still work as they should.

The lights are a waste of time btw, sure they look great, but after a few weeks you stop noticing them entirely anyway
Phillips is very pricey, as for the lighting, I'm only going by what I'm told, if you know what I'm mean. ;) so I thought the simplest option would be a esp32 (similar to a PI )
