WLM and Firefox probs

In Windows Live Mail, if I click a link to a site within an email message, Firefox loads the page ok but with an error message, "there was a problem sending the command to the program".

If I set IE as the default browser it's fine. Tried disabling security apps but no joy. So any ideas on how to fix this annoying error message please?

Please ignore, PROBLEM SOLVED! Had to associate the .url extension to Firefox.

Tried reinstalling? No need to uninstall or touch your profile, just get the exe installer from mozilla.org and rerun it.

Just realised that the error only pops up when the browser is already open. If clicking the link opens Firefox it's fine.
