Windows live messenger help please

Hi all.

Just a quick question if any of you guys and gals out there can help.

Ive just built a new rig and my daughter is wanting to use live messenger to talk to one of her school friends so I installed the program just like before however I get this message popping up every time she now tries to log in it says "Windows live communications platfrom has stopped working". I have no idea how to fix this so I thought I would ask the people who know best, you guys!!

Tried reinstalling messenger?

Yea that dosnt work. Have just been reading up on it on the net and it says to remove nVidia Forced Network Access from my comp. How do I do that???

See if it is listed in Add/Remove programs and uninstall it from there. From memory that is nvidia's firewall and possibly what is causing the issue.

What OS are you using?

All sorted. It was Nvidia Forced Network Manager that was causing the problems. I just removed the app and all is working again. Cheers for the help.
