WMP 11 losing album art etc.

Hi all,

I use Windows Media Player 11, I have a lot of music ripped as WAV, and did have everthing with the correct data and album art.

Recently WMP 11 seems to have lost some album art, mixed some up and messed up some track info etc. I had thought I had solved this, so now unsure what has happened?

Any tips or such for ensuring Windows does not mess up my info?

you could try unchecking the "retrieve additional information from the internet" box in options

have you checked the files themselves to see if the information has been modified, or is it only incorrect in wmp?

I am sure I had those settings off, I am now wondering if some update or such may have reverted settings?

WMP again seems to be the problem as this is not the first time I have had issues,
