WMP and Realplayer not working properly

my girlfriends mum uses WMP and realplayer, but lately they wont play songs, they just start jumping, but winamp is fine, plays everything perfectly, i have told her winamp is better anyway but shes stubborn and wants ME to fix WMP because she knows how to use it

any ideas chaps? because i cant remember the last time i even opened WMP up because i really dont like it

think its WMP10 they have got, which afaik is the newest one?

You could try WMP11. Thats available now.

if that doesn't work you could simply try uninstalling (restart) and reinstalling? Surely if both programs are jumping (except Winap) it might be a codec problem?

thats what i though with the codecs, but not sure on how to check which one it is that is messing things up, plus im pretty sure that my girlfriends mum hasnt been downloaidng any because she wouldnt even kno where to look for them LOL just about to install 11 now, will let you know

sorted, can actually have a peaceful evening now without her going on for me to fix it
