I did a fresh install of Win 7x64 yesterday on my new HTPC and now I'm trying to add my music to WMP but it's painfully slow. All my music is on my NAS, which I have added to the libary,but it just seem to add a couple of folders every minute or so. I started it off last night and when I got up this morning it was only at 35%. I have about 160GB of music on my NAS but I can't remember it ever being this slow to build the library before. I've tried to add the music directly through media centre but this is just the same. I've also deleted the WMP databases to see if that helps but still the same speeds. Can anyone help?

Seem to have sorted it now. I was removing the watched folders in the users & public folders before adding my NAS path. I tried leaving them in on my other pc and it was very fast. Put them back in and it's all good now. Bit annoying as none of my searching mentioned anything about this. Hopefully this will save someone else a bit of time if they have the same problem.
