WMP11 Database and MP3 Tags

Hi there,

How do I stop WMP11 from changing the tags of my MP3 Tags and for it not to fetch any information from the internet and just use the information that is stored in the tags.

I ask as it keeps moving my tracks around in its internal database because it fetches info from the net and changes the tags?

How do I stop this?

Before you say - i have already changed the options that seem obvious for this - but it appears to still happen.

if you have already unticked the option to fetch info from the net then it sounds like there are irregularities in your tags. As far as I have found WMP uses ID3v2 tags first and then ID3v1 if not available so you need to make sure all your tags are identical

I have already unticked that box.

There should be no irregularities and all of the tags are ID3v2...I am quite pedantic about it ...all of them tagged properly and identically where appropriate.
