WMP12 playback lines

Hi,

After installing Win7 x64 WMP12 has had strobing lines from one corner to another when watching a video (more than likley .AVI) its a bit like someone has recorded the video holding a camcorder to another screen... bit annoying.

However downloaded VLC and that doesnt do it... so kinda rules out it being the GFX card.

Anybody else getting this problem? or help?
Spec is in sig.

Now on another win7 system with my old 8800GTS in... working fine. strange !!!
