Running W7 and I use iTunes. I very rarely use WMP but the process is always running, even if I kill it, it just comes back. It sits there using about 50MB of RAM doing nothing. :confused:

I have turned off all sharing in network center and I have also disabled all syncing. Any ideas how to stop this?

idk, but 50mb really isn't much.

It's not just that, sometimes it decides to play MP3's, so I have a PC sat there playing music and no obvious thing playing it, unless you go into processes. lol

Are you controlling iTunes with keyboard hotkeys?

It may be that when you press the hotkeys it opens up WMP and starts playing.

Yes, with my G15. Can I unbind it from WMP?

I don't use it that often though.
