WMV HD Codec?

Does anyone know anything about this?

Apparently, if you can find software to rip a BR to this format it will play natively in VMC

Just wondered if anyone had come across it before.

It probably means VC-1. You should be able to encode to it using windows media encoder. I wouldn't bother though, it is terribly slow; 3-6fps compared to 20 or 30 in x264.
