.wmv to XviD

Hi I got some video files that I would like to convert to XviD, they are .wmv files and GSpot says that the container is:

File Type: ASF (.WMA/.WMV)
Mime Type: video/x-ms-asf

Anyone have any ideas what program could open these and convert, tried virtualDub but it cant open them. In fact I cant find anything that would open them. Suggestions? :confused:

virtual dub 1.3 had support for asf,i can send it you if you wanna try it

MediaCoder should do the job nicely

Virtual Dub mpeg will open a lot of wmv files that ver 1.3 doesnt open.
