So, I had a go on this with Game Pass and bloody hell, the state they released this on PC is shocking.

Launch game. Crash.
Change resolution. Crash.
Change graphics settings. Crash.
Start game. Crash.
Finalise character creation. Crash.

Finally got to play the game and it was not even anything special. Had enough and uninstalled.

So long to Wo Long!

Crispy critters time :D

I'm a fan of the genre(Soulsborne,Nioh fan) so i'll be picking this game up to play co-op with my partner.
I did have some graphical issues and bad stuttering with the demo on steam last week, the graphics settings made no difference at all with the exception of changing the texture resolution percentage from 100% to 70%.
I'm hoping the full game address these issues, if not then i'll be dealing with stuttering only.

Tried this earlier. Ran fine surprisingly. (Vega 64)
Got to some Tiger like thing and it killed me multiple times and gave up.

The combat seems really good though I'll be going back to it for sure.

If you was even remotely interested in this then I highly recommend you play Sekiro.

Another From Software masterpiece of a game.

Tried this morning. Works fine for me and getting a steady 60 fps on a 1070. It plays terrible on a keyboard and mouse though. You need a controller.

As you should anyway; all 3rd person view action games play best with a controller

This game has a bug that causes the screen to flicker white, disable ambient occlusion

Waiting for a patch to drop on GP for this so that I can play with KB/M (no one bother telling me to play with a controller. I'm not going to.)

I had some vague hopes this was going to be to the Nioh servies what Elden Ring was to Dark Souls, but it doesn't seem that's the case.

Be interested to know how people think it compares to Nioh (and Dark Souls, Sekiro, etc.) to play. I hear they've dropped the stances from Nioh, which seems kind of a shame, but if they've added in other elements that help the combat flow that might not be a bad thing. From a couple of gameplay clips I've watched, it looks quite fast-paced with lots of jumping and fast enemy combos?

It sounds like there's a very tricky first boss, too, in typical Team Ninja style. I didn't find Nioh 1 or 2 that difficult (outside of DLCs and one or two optional bosses) because there were so many ways to build ninjutsu and onmyou you could find ways to cheese some of the tougher ones (more so in 1 than 2, I recall, though - blinding shell, sloth, guardian spirit spells, thrown weapons, etc.), so also be interesting to hear where people find the diffiuclty of this lies.

First boss isn't that tricky, it's just the usual way to play these games is to dodge, block or parry enemies but it doesn't really work so well with this boss and it catches people out, the best way to take out the first boss is to just keep attacking and don't stop attacking just spam attacks
