Wobbly Table

Just bought an Oak Lamp Table.

Very heavy and when anywhere else in my lounge it is fine and solid.

When I put it where I actually want it it has a slight wobble. Tried felt pads, cardboard etc. Still can’t get it perfect.

Any way to sort this, or is it just best to persevere putting pads in and out until it is right.

I can’t seem to get it perfect.

Swap bits & bobs about until you have it perfect then cut a piece of wood the same thickness & glue it in place sanding the edges to make it fit perfect & hide it, JD.

Just reduce the size of the other legs

hire a small child to prop up the shorter leg

stand it on stairs, that way the shorter leg can be on the step up

I say we take off and nuke the entire table from orbit. Its the only way to be sure.

Just sit a buxom wench on it and start it wobbling. Then re-post if you are still unhappy with the table.

Cut one leg off, leaving three legs.
Three legged tables don't wobble.

I think you should just accept the table for what it is and stop trying to change it, intolerance is never cool.

Rotate it. I'm sure there's a study somewhere that proves a wobly table can always be cured by rotating it.

You're looking at it from the wrong perspective - the table is ok but your floor is not level. Rip out your old floor surface and have a new one installed.

Really you have never used a beer mat in a pub or out for a meal, nothing worse than a wobbly table.
