WOL - Mac Mini only half works

I'm having a bit of a problem getting Wake on (wireless) lan to properly work on my Mac Mini. Using iNet pro iPhone app, it detects the Mac and wakes it up fine, However the screens stay blank and then it just shuts back down in about 5 seconds. Therefore its getting some sort of activity but not fully completing it.

Anyone have any ideas?

This seems to be something to do with 10.7/10.8 because my MBP is doing the same thing. Number of threads about it on the net, haven't tried any of the possible solutions tho.

Yeah they have killed WOL, doesn't work on my mac wireless or wired.

From my experience WOL has always been iffy.. even with Apple remote desktop I can't really on it at all.

I would love for them to develop a magic packet system so I can remote power machines.
