Im using a Asus P5K-E mobo which uses a Marvell yukon 88E8056 adapter.
Ive got everything setup fine within the bios and network adapter..as when i sleep the machine i can wake it up remotely, but it'll only wake as long as the machines not been off for longer than 5 mins
After doing a bit of searching ive found this could be a router problem (Netgear DG834GT with DG-team firmware) with it loosing the mac address after a certain period of time.
The only way of getting it working is to create a static ARP entry.
Can anyone tell me what a static ARP entry is and how i go about setting up a static ARP entry within the router?
Many thanks
