hi chaps, is there any way, i can use rdp to send a WOL packet and then log me in?

No, but you could forward the WOL ports on your router to the destination PC and then when you send the WOL packet to your external IP address, it will wake up it up.

I'd create a bat file set it to..

wake the machine
wait ~10 seconds (by pinging itself)
then login through rdp
