The e8200 model is available right now, with very good quantity of the e8400s to hit us tomorrow and fighting for e8500's which are proving to be *very* scarce indeed.
 
Should i sell my Q6600 and get this. I can't choose :(

Probably not worth it when you're hitting 3.6GHz as it is. Depends what you do with your system though but in reality the chances are you won't notice any major improvements except in benchmarks.

I've been toying with doing the same, but I know it's pointless. Will just wait for the lower end Yorkfields to appear before making a decision :)

Nice so if i order one for £109.99 +VAT i can send it back if it doesnt reach 4GHZ?

It doesn't say "we guarantee these will hit 4GHz", just says that they do it easily. Will be interesting to see what even the crap overclocking E8xxx series chips do though :)
