Hi all,

Is anyone from here still playing this game? I never get tired of it, and I am still playing it! (For any of the old [OcUK]ers

)

If you are, where do you play (I play on the [fP] server)?

Also, I have a spare server going spare which could be used for a few private games if enough people are around

I moved on to BF2 after RTCWW and COD2. Been 3 years now and I still am playing Bf2.

They're bringing out a new version I think. Saw a new trailer not so long ago, and it looked good.

I could never get into BF2, I have it, but its the loading times which kill it for me.

Wolf ET is my favourite online FPS ever. I loved all the original levels, especially at the beach. I might just install it for old times sake

It's worth sticking with. The learning curve is a bit steep but once you fully get into it, it's an amazing game.

Has it got much of a playerbase? (Quake Wars I mean).

It's got an okay playerbase but definitely not huge. There's plenty of full servers around though...

I reinstalled it not long ago but had a lot of trouble with punkbuster and the game was very choppy! It seems a lot of the servers now run stupid mods which take an age to download and just add annoying sounds/skins.

Only mod fP have done since I have been using it is annoying Quake sounds

I can always set this server up for anyone wanting a game

Sorry to drag this up from the depths, but is anyone still playing this? Been a few years since I have, but a recent pub conversation has wetted my interest once again.

Is this a working version? I remember there being a few niggles with various releases and Et Pro.
