Wolfenstein: The New Order

Please tell me I'm not the only one getting a hard on over this.

It looks brilliant, definitely some elements of Dirty Bomb there. However, the lack of an MP mode seems like a massive oversight. So many people (myself included) never got over RtCW or ET and have been ruined ever since.

General premise is that it's Wolfenstein set in an alternate future where the Nazis won WWII. Blascowicz reprises his role as exterminator of the Third Reich - details are a bit thin on the ground at this point, but release is slated for Q3/4 of this year.

So, who has their pre-order in?

In fairness the last Wolfenstein's MP was shocking, this seemed like a perfect opportunity to write some wrongs.

Playing this game reminds me why I fell in love with the franchise to begin with. The last attempt was horrendous, but this is spectacular.

Blighters, this forum cost me more money! Had to order it through Steam so I'd have it for tonight as I have a rare free evening, VERY much looking forward to it, just hope the 40+gb is finished in time :/



At the end of the day there is Enemy Territory that is still a great online game to play.

Running xfire 7970s on CCC14.4 - only issue I have is stutter on the dev/publisher animations when the game boots.
