It's based on the Doom 3 Engine, so it shouldn't be that hard to run. I'm replaying RTCW right now. It's still a good game.

Yeah, tis based on a very (almost unrecognisable) Doom3 engine but should still run fine. It'll look like its based on another engine due to the changes that have been made by Raven and to a lesser degree, i.d.software.

Yeah I remember being blown away by the special effects and sound effects when I first played it. Very good single player, didn't much go for the mp though, guess I was in the minority there.:D

Raven havn't made a really good game in quite some time, quake 4 was pretty average. Can't say i expect this to set the world on fire.

I think you'll be right. Though I reckon it should be pretty good. I hope it will be worth it, there's nowt else atm that I wish to part my cash for.:)

Specs wise I think realistically a 2+gig dual core, 2gig of RAM and a 512Mb nVidia 7900 or ATI x1800 GPU would be needed to play this - a 8 series GPU or 3800 series better.

In its own right I think its an ok game - but they seem to have built it around a specific part of wolfie - so if your looking for another game to continue the feel of wolfie 3D or RTCW then you'll prolly be a little dissapointed. It feels closer to max payne somehow.

The Original one was great, and my 1st real FPS online.....Hope this one can live up to my expectations....
