Yeah definitely - though I think Netherlands have got a bit unlucky here and it hasn't come together for them.
Hey Rroff, do you still dabble in Quake? We used to quite often both be on the same UK Q3 FFA servers. I think your name was in red. I haven't touched the game in years, I think I last played Quake Live around 2011. I miss it but it was too addictive and called it quits after about 9 years of playing.

Penalties would be hilarious given the level of finishing on display between these two teams. Real shame we weren't on this side of the draw, would love to see us in a final.
Yeah that would have been me. I play on and off but I just can't get into Quake Champions due to it not feeling as "tight" as previous Quake games which has reduced how much I play.
Yeah, I never played Champions but can't imagine improving on Q3 and Live. I still watch the pro duels on Qcon each year though. ztn3tourney1 was always my favourite map to watch and sometimes play.
Not sure the Dutch will have the energy after this LOL.
I was planning to watch this but stuck with the 15 year old tearing up the tennis courts at Wimbledon. Seems like a smart decision based on what I've read here.

In theory should comfortably beat the Swedes - the England team was playing a much more comprehensive game but in practise I dunno - England might just put a token effort in and not really play a good game.

I actually like QC in terms of the content and concept - don't even take exception to the abilities as some purists do I actually think they are quite interesting to play with. But the problem for me is what always made Quake great was that you could get in the zone and it felt almost seamless to play, Quake Champions just doesn't have that it is more like Unreal the movement is OK but not Quake, the railgun lacks that snap precision and rockets are laggy and far more inconsistent, etc.
If last nights game is anything to go by then I'd expect a 2-0 / 3-0 to our Ladies.
And I'm fully expecting USA to destroy the Dutch, Rapinoe wasn't played due to Injury, tbh they don't need her, Morgan did a good enough job - and she's nicer to look at :O.

Problem for the Dutch as I see it their favoured quite high press strategy they struggled with having enough pace to implement against Sweden never mind the US and it is perfect for a player like Morgan to exploit. Very dangerous strategy when they can get it down but unless they can get the US on the backfoot it just isn't going to happen. Couple of their better players also seem to be struggling with self-belief which is holding them back despite having the skills.
I'm on the fence a bit as the Dutch have individually some talented players, great goalkeeper and their strategy is decent and I half feel like they've been keeping something in reserve but unless they can find a level of fitness and pace we've not seen yet the odds aren't looking good.

Absolutely terrible play by England so far - they had two clear chances to run away at the start and lacked the vision to do so! and they pretty much tee'd that goal up.
This is painful to watch England look completely outclassed, no vision, easily overrun.

England are LOL at the moment - no ability to react, no vision of where the ball is going one step ahead - might as well just conceded the game now and save themselves some embarrassment unless they change it up and quickly.
