Women's World Cup 2019 Thread

Just abide by the laws of the game...laws they will have been drilled about time and time again and its fine. You cant have a go at officials for refereeing correctly lol.

That’s absolute crap!

VAR can be so good, but it’s being ruined. How can you dive for a penalty without a little forward movement? It happens with 99% of dives from keepers. It’s natural.
I just saw the previous two goals agrentina scored. You cant complain about that. Argentina should never have been in that position in the first place.

Really poor 2 goals Scotland conceded that people seem to be glossing over because of the VAR calls on the 3rd goal

Drama in the Chile v Thailand match. For anyone who didn't watch it; Chile needed to win 3-0 to qualify, and were 2-0 up with 10 mins to go. Reckless challenge from the Thai keeper saw Chile awarded a penalty, only for Lara to crash it against the crossbar. Agonisingly close to going through.

Speaking of VAR; another penalty given for a defender's foot missing the ball and the follow through kicking an opposition player. Very similar to the France v Norway match. At least there is some consistency there and one of the positives for VAR.

Yep should've had a red card for the elbow 3 mins in and also she's just spat on Toni Duggan, good goal though, hopefully that settles them down

Not too sure what the plan was there for Cameroon, having the keeper in front of the wall was bizarre.

Cameroon know they're outclassed here and are relying on physicality and some **** housing
