Having an issue where my monitor decides to go blank after the microsoft green progress bar on startup. I can boot to safe mode fine and the monitor is working as it displays all the startup bits before going blank (saying there is no signal). I have used the checkdisk app and sfc/scannow and reports no problems. I have also created a bootlog file viewed in safe mode and from what I can see it shows no problems. I have even taken the tower into the local pc support shop and they came back saying there were no problems and it booted up fine in there shop.
I cant see the monitor being at fault because it works fine until the point described above.
Im at a bit of a loss as to what is going on here and wondered if anyone can help. I have an ati 4870x2 and wondered could the drivers be causing an issue??
