Hi guys

I have a gaming pc around 18 months old which wouldn’t boot. Anyway after a bit of testing I have worked out that it’s one of the Corsair CMT64GX4 16g ram. I have 3 plugged in and works fine but put the 4th in and doesn’t boot.

the question is can I buy a single 16gb ddr4 3000 mhz of ram or do I need to buy a set of 2 or even a set of 4?

Thanks

Jon

Hi

have you tried the 4th RAM module in the system by itself? Could be a dead DIMM slot on the motherboard.
