Got a Jetway MA3-79DGD Combo AM2 board which im just building up now and for some reason, when i connect a ps2 mouse, it won't boot.

Not got around to installing an OS yet, just been in the bios and updated time and date and boot order etc...

Any ideas on this one guys?

Thanks,

Andy

The bottom of the mouse lights up, have to swap over my USB mouse from this machine and try.

Ideally would have preferred to try another ps2 mouse to see if it's the mouse of the port. Unless i got an adapter hmmm.

Ok, i'm also having problems with it staying on.

At the moment it's sitting on top of it's box with a freezer 64 pro heatsink on it, 4gb ddr2 ram, a sata hard drive and ide dvd-rw fitted. All powered by a Hiper type-r 2 880watt power supply.

I'm going to try another power supply in a minute to see if it's that, sometimes it will stay on for 30 mins, other times it wont boot into windows, but if i disconnect the 24 pin cable and put a paperclip in, the psu starts up fine so i don't think it's that to be honest.

Any ideas?

Andy
