Won't Fire Up Help Plz

My neighbour has just brought their PC in to me to have a look at it for them as its stopped working.

Basically if I press power button the PSU doesn't start only thing that happens is the CPU fan spins round once then stops.

I'm going to whip my PSU out and try that see if it sorts it but any other idea's would be greatly appreciated.

Have, check everything is plugged in correctly, all power cables etc. If everything is then yeh, go ahead and try your PSU, but I don't know whether it would be the PSU if it's powering up the CPU for a spin.. Hmmm

One thing you can do is reseat all power cables...And naturally the 13amp plug from the wall also.

But otherwise try your psu or one you may have handy...if that works, try your neghbours one again. Then if that one doesent power it up its the psu

yeah was confused the CPU fan spins once, going to have a look at it now.
