Try and reinstall SA and don't install any patches, I have no patches and it works pefectly.

There is no patch 1.0 it's the original version of the game. Guess people don't read README.txt files anymore (renaming them to DONOTREADME would help).

If you GTA:SA game disks are above v1.0 then im guessing..........no

No, uninstall the game and then install it again and then this mod, but don't install any patches.

Didn't rockstar install the no hot coffee patch in to all new versions of the game? If so that would make the game at 1.1 automatically, hence OP can't go back to version 1.0.
