Hi guys,
I have a Phenom X3 8650, GB MA790x-DS4, and GeIL Ultra Low Latency 2GB DDR2 800mhz. Initially, I went to up DDR voltage to 2.1 and change timings to 4-4-4-12, like the ram is supposed to run, but If i change any of the timings, the system fails to start, and the MB boots back to original settings?!.
I went to go for a little overclock, so I manually set HT, FSB, PCI-E voltage etc. Found out, If any change of them at all, it goes back to original settings after no POST!. Surely this cant be right?!!. Am I missing something here? Also, the BIOS has no RAM Divider option, so I cant set the ratio for the RAM to run at right MHZ?.
Any light shed on this would be well appreciated
Cheers.
