Won't POST After Shutdown Without Clearing CMOS

Hi,
When i overclock my phenom after every shutdown i would have to
reset the cmos because it wont post, on the mobo screen i just get cpu_int
but it is 100% stable in windows tested with prime and occt.
Its a PITA but its fine after a restart it only does it when powered down.
Anyone got any ideas?
