my freinds p.b.easynote which was running on windows 7 wonmt turn on.
it powers up and sounds fine then the packard bell screen comes up but f8 wont do anything and it then goes to a black screen with a flashing cursor. none of the keys do anything and the laptop dfoesnt load up windows.
my freind was trying to log in as admin to install photoshop and went into the bios by mistake and clicked load default values or at least he thinks he did.
what could be the cause of this problem and can you help me with a solution for the guy? he's skint and the last thing he needs is to have to replace his laptop for his first year in uni.
