Anyone had bad experiences with ebay? I'll never use ebay again. And I've only used it twice.

My buyer complained my item was faulty (which it isn't).

The buyer is demanding a refund and will be round to collect in cash, same as the way he paid originally. Looking at his previous transactions he's some dodgy dealer involved in what looks like stolen car parts. I doubt I'd sell to people like this at a car boot sale, let alone actually let them into my house to buy stuff from me.

After this I just don't trust people, so that's it - never again.

Sure, I think i just got unlucky on this occassion. However I was always suspicious of using ebay. And it's not so much the problem of defending my home, I'm a big lad and I can take care of myself - its having a stranger in your house and eyeing up your hi-fi equipment.

I used to love Ebay, every time I wanted to upgrade my PC I'd sell the old part on and make at least 50% of the retail cost of the new item but it's just not worth the grief nowadays

This is what I mean - when I order from online shops, I have no issues getting the product within 48 hours. My time is money, so going through the hassles of a refund, having to wait for him to turn up, etc. is more trouble than its worth.
