Just tried plugging this in whilst running.
Previously doing this would normally curtain-of-death the MBP and if it didn't it required a restart to cause initialise the device.
Now it works just like USB
Although it still causes the system prefs to revert to 32bit mode.
So for you that have a M-Audio Firewire Audiophile and got annoy at the connect/disconnect restart..
I foresee lots of MIDI fun
