Hey guys.

Its me 1st pc, and Ive been posting here quite a lot about it recently.

The pc is not starting.............................................. :(

I have actually got it to start before, fans and stuff, but now, after fixing some things - its not doing anything.

My mate said something about a static reset - something like hold the power button and reset button in for 30 secs, and it discharges the static? Is that true?

Anything else that you may think could be wrong? (I know its hard you guys not being here!)

Try resetting the CMOS.
Have you connected all power connections also the 4 or 8 pin for the cpu.

Yes mate, its like the board isnt getting power...

I am no expert but if the power supply has power and the board is completely dead.... you sure the board is not faulty? when I build mine, the fan wasnt connected tight it didn't start..

Awwwww - best not be, I got it not long ago on the MM................

Gutted, just wanted to build a pc for some light gaming and stuff and its being more trouble than its worth. :(

the static thing is right, lots of boards have "cold boot" issues, ie they will restart all day long but if you power the down they won't power back up.

I don't remember the full explanation but it was something like cpacitors holding a charge so fooling the board into thinking it was already on or something like that.

my current pc does that , if i turn it off i have to wait 30minutes with it turned off before it will boot lol.

its been like that from day one, will have to try holding the power button in for 30seconds at some point and see it it works

turn the psu off first at the switch on the unit itself and you'll probably see your fans/lights come on for a split second. That's normally long enough tbh.
