Man I'm happy.

So I got about 200 quid at the beginning of July and my eyes were set on the 4870...

Then I realised... hmm... not sure if my Colors-IT 550W PSU would appreciate that much load!

So I saw the Corsair 650vx. I couldn't be bothered with cables... I like to see them!

So I had earned another 50 odd quid, totalling 250 quid.

Then I realised... I don't actually have a case and it's quite a risk running all this stuff open...

So in realising that a 4870 would probs be a slight overkill for my 19" monitor, I decided that I'd get the 4850 instead and buy an Antec 900.

BUT - this is why I really am happy.

It's Mid-August now and I had to wait since the beginning of July to order this stuff, because my Dad had no money to pay me!

Then, finally he got paid yesterday, the last day that I could order, where I would have enough time to rebuild my rig before I go away on hols.

And what's more, I CAN FINALLY POST HERE ON THE FORUMS!!!

For some reason, every time I registered and activated, my account would never be activated by the mods!

So now I'm waiting for this bunch of hardware to arrive.... can't wait...

Apologies, for my self-indulgence in telling you this tale of my 1 1/2 month wait...

So is the stuff coming today or tomorrow then?.

It's great when something goes right. That 4850 is a stonker and should see you through the year. Alteast until 45nm tech.
