well my story is an interesting one, was always a pc man, had been building my own for ages since I was little, then found the wonder of apple through iphone V1 and went for a change to a macbook. The next step was one caused by me feeling annoying with my bottom spec macbook being a bit underpowered so I got a dell laptop with a bit more grunt. The next frustration was windows in a major way, whether it was installation problems or crashes or whatever.

Today I finally got too fed up and sold my old macbook, old iphone (woo, v2!) and silly dell laptop and got back to apple. So now here I am with an absolutely ridiculous 24" screen that hardly fits on my desk, got a last gen (2007) imac that is just awesome. Just thought I would share my joy, only problem is I have to keep moving away from the screen as I am used to 13.3". Just thought I would share my excitement, will get some obligatory pics up a bit later.

congrats man, would move to a Mac desktop myself if they weren't so overpriced and if I didn't like tinkering/gaming so much :)

Your making me jelous, I'm just itching to get a Mac after years of making my own PCs and getting frustrated with windows. I'll have to start drinking a bit less and start saving a bit more. Enjoy they new toy anyway :):)

Congratulations on the iMac purchase. I've jst gone and ordered one for myself this evening.

They are lovely pieces of kit! :D

Nice one, hopefully I will get an iMac myself once I'm done at university next year :).
I've never felt disappointed with the macbook myself though, then again, I have the Blackbook which is an amazing machine, believe me I get chicks with this! :p
