Wooo on my new computer!!

Hello,

Built my computer this morning/afternoon now on it today. Only think i am waiting for is for Vista 64Bit CD to come so not d.l anything at this moment.

When i do get the cd all i will need to do is put it in drive and upgrade option sort it all our or will have to do a fresh instal of windows vista?

No i have already installed Windows 32 bit home premium but i am waiting for the 64bit cd to come from Microsoft.

So when i put it the 64 Bit will there me an option to do a new install?

x86 to x64 has to be a fresh install.

HOw you do a fresh install?

Do i have to just put the Disk in?

It will be 32 bit to 64, just go a few thing on my pc msn, avast and not d.l. any more updates etc as should be coming soon

Yeah boot from the disk you get vista 64 and run the install (wipe the old one first during the process). just like you did with vista 32

will it automatically wipe the old one for me when installing the 6 bit.

Sorry about this lol just built my first pc today went ratehr well, apart from one of my fans i brought dont fit hits the 4870 (its a beast)
