Is it really that hard to understand? The OP expects x amount of money to leave his account. This didn't happen as it's already been paid for. OP now has x amount of money that he didn't budget for this month to spend or save however he wants.

I completely understand, lack of understanding isnt an issue here, it's about attitude. Not paying for something you never had to pay for in the first place is never a gain and shouldn't really be thought of as such

I paid my insurance in August. It's not due again for another 8 months. This is a True Story so can I post in the sub-forum?

Mines due in march. Thatll be about 300 quid, but the benefit of that is I get 300 quid free every month except march!
