Been Plugging away with F@H for the last year or so and just realised i'm in the top 200, and more importantly on the second page of the EOC OCUK stats pages!:D

Not bad for two old machines running < 24/7

Would a PS3 be a cost effective cruncher considering they're ~ £280?

I've been folding for 1 month now 24/7 with a Q6600 doing 2xsmp WU's per day.

I,ve done over 90,000 points and also on page 2 of the EOC OCUK stat page.

Get a quad and lets upset the slackers on page 1 :D

One quad? Why stop at one? :p

Well done for sticking it out - I suspect it's rather frustrating to see all the people with millions of points flying off into the distance, but as Tesco put it so well, 'every little helps'.

Who says i'm stopping at 1, Hopefully 2 and an old p4 by the weekend ;)

I've had my glory days in the past, got to 13 place in team 10 with the old skool S@H client. But Folding is different for me, i've got a family member with terminal cancer, so as you say every WU counts.

You can expect 900PPD from a PS3, not bad really - however at only just a bit over stock (need to find time for some serious clockage) my quad is pulling in 3-4 times that and certainly didn't cost a grand

Of course it's a whole lot easier to justify a PS3 than a new PC :o :p

Congrats on the top 200 - hard going with all these lunatics around but you play as big a part as any other when it comes to the team :)
