Ok I have a ton of rather large documents that I need to covert over to PDF format. These documents contain a lot of images, annotations etc. Is there anything that can do this for me out there?

Here at work we use Office 2003 and I hate that pdf format, but it needs to be done :/

There are various programs such as CutePDF Writer which will allow you to 'print' as a PDF doc... Otherwise if you have access to a copy of MS OFfice 2007 or indeed open office, these have the abilities to save as PDF automatically... MS requires a plugin from their website and openoffice does it automatically.

Cheers for the info, I never knew there was an addon for office 07, I've been using pdf creator

Looks like CutePDF does the job for me. Tried a single doc file, and it converted to pdf flawlessly. Only another 800+ to go through :o :(

I was doing it from inside word via print, until you gave me an idea with the batch print mention.

I just opened up a directory and highlighted 3 files, right clicked and then chose Print off the context menu and up popped the Printing to box, rapidly followed by a Save As box for the pdf's! So it looks like that works. I'll try around 10-20 files after lunch and see how that goes! Nice one!
