Word 2003 open password removal

Hi Guys

Are there any programs that can do this? A friend has a doc he can't remember to "open password" to get into it

Lots of stuff online but all paid, wanted to see if I could help him out

I remember ages ago I found a program that worked on excel 2003

Not that simple with word

use a hex editor.

Think this is for a password "protected" document, I'm trying to remove/find a password that pops up the moment you open the document
