Word 2003 - spellcheck problem

I'm trying to get Word 2003 to spell check in Polish but it doesn't seem to work. I have added both English & Polish to Windows and Word itself.. I tell Word to use Polish but it seems to ignore mistakes still.

Any ideas?

Do you have Polish language proofing tools? The English version of Office only comes with English, French and Spanish proofing tools out the box.

I dont think it's free either:
