Word 2007 - I don't think the Spell Checker is working

Hi there,

I am under the suspicion that I may have somehow disabled the spell checker or something because it doesn't seem to pick up grammar or spelling mistakes in the current document I am working on.

Is it possible to do that, if so, how do I rectify it?

I get no squiggly like under just random letters? Press F7, it says its fine.

Thanks.

Click the 'office button' (round thing, top left corner of the Word window, with the office symbol on it!), then in the drop-down click the 'Word Options' button at the bottom. Then go to the Proofing tab, and in the section titled 'When correcting spelling and grammar in Word', ensure there are ticks in the boxes for 'Check spelling as you type', and 'Mark grammar errors as you type'. That will, I think, ensure Word spell-checks on the fly.

I hope that helps! :)

Did it work?
