Ok... im slightly confused, whats active directory as I assume you don't mean the windows domain tool?

Sorry, spoon. I meant group policy. Yes, trying to distribute this accross a network insstead of per pc. Need to find out how to turn in on first in Word 2007 on my machine

edit - I have just been looking and when I log in into Citrix the autocorrect options 'replace text as you type' part of word has a big list of words that replace. I just need to find out where these are stored to copy them to a local machine and get them working.

I tried saving the custom dictonary (application data\micosoft\uproof) and the templates normal.dot and normal.dotm from Citrix to local machine. I fire up word and the replace words are still not there

Anyone have any clues as to where the 'replace text as you type' list is stored?

edit2 - have also tried exporting the office 12 registry from citrix and importing onto local computer but still no joy

Done it, its the uk language file that stores all words. UK was empty for some reason on local machines. I saved it to a scripts folder that copies it at login for those who need it

For Word 2003 the entries are stored in an ACL file which will be in the users profile folder under Application Data\Microsoft\Office in there there should be an ACL file for each language code ie MSO2057.acl

Not too sure about Word 2007 but hopefully the above might help?

EDIT: Crap! not too sure why the double post?

Yep, same in Word 2007. I copied the MSO2057.acl into a folder with is picked up at login and copied to %userprofile%\application data\Microsoft\Office
