In MS Word 2007, is there anyway to swap the functionality of SHIFT ENTER and ENTER. I mean its annoying when I want a new line which I used to get from pushing enter I now have to push SHIFT ENTER. ENTER on is own now seems to give me a new line but with a large gap between it and the previous one.

Next to where you select the Font (left), select 'No Spacing'

goto the top under the HOME tab, look for styles just off centre to the right. change it to AaBbCcDd - No Spacing (second across) instead of Normal

for some reason the default is like a 1 1/2 line space

Of course - change your normal.dotx file.
