Hello all.
In Excel im able to link a table to an MSSQL Server query and have the spreadsheet update as the table changes, either each time i open the spreadsheet or when i set the refresh rate to a certain timeframe.
I have found that in Word you can insert a database and use MSQUERY to link to an SQL view/table but Word dosent seem to be able to dynamically update the table based on changes. To reflect a change i have to delete the table then insert it all over again.
Does anyone know if i am missing something here or do i need to venture into VB to dynamically link a SQL table/view in Word ? If so anyone know any a good resources ?
(You may have noticed i still hold on to the hope its possible).
Thanks
p.s Is it just me or has the search function disappeared when you log in ?
